Princeville FFA Alumni Mission & Objectives
Mission:
To provide support to enable the success of the Princeville FFA Chapter and Agricultural Education at Princeville High School.
Objectives:
- Create a network of program supporters
- Assist in program activities
- Enhance opportunities for students
- Cultivate and maintain scholarships to encourage and enable students to attend FFA related activities and events as well as pursue careers in agriculture
- Provide educational and professional opportunities for FFA members, FFA alumni and members of the community

Heritage Days Raffle
The Princeville FFA Alumni and Supporters will be conducting a raffle during Heritage Days. All proceeds will be used toward future high school scholarships awarded. The prizes are as follows:
1st: 1/4 beef - donated by Mitch Hartzler
2nd: Side of pork - donated by Tom Kelley, Country Insurance
3rd: $100 plant sale gift certificate for the 2011 plant sale
The tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets are available from any member.

Princeville FFA Alumni & Supporters awards Scholarships
The Princeville FFA Alumni and Supporters awarded two $500 scholarships at the Chapter's Annual Banquet. Qualifications for the scholarship included: being a 4-year agricultural student, active in FFA at both the chapter level and higher, having kept records for an SAEP for three years, and submitting an essay on "How FFA and Agricultural Classes Have Benefited Me". This year's recipients were Branden Hensel and Erin Ehnle.
Branden served as Chapter President, was named the Section 5 Star in Ag Placement, and placed 2nd in State with his SAEP in Ag Sales. He is slated to receive his State FFA degree at the State Convention in June. Branden plans to attend Black Hawk East majoring in Ag Business Management, and then transfer to a 4-year university.
Erin served as Chapter Reporter, advanced to the District level with her SAEP in Vegetable Production and placed 2nd individually at the State Ag Business Management contest. She is slated to receive her State FFA degree at the State Convention in June. Erin plans to attend Indiana Wesleyan University majoring in Public Relations with plans to work for an ag-related company.

Princeville FFA Alumni & Supporters Gather for informational meeting.
After several months of planning by a steering committee, a dinner meeting was held at the Princeville Methodist Church on Saturday, February 13, 2010 with over 75 people in attendance. After being served a rib-eye steak dinner, the attendees heard the mission and goals of the group and were challenged to join in support to insure that opportunities through the Princeville FFA Chapter continue to be available to future generations.
